In all seriousness, it’s astonishing that a random person claiming to be a “high-level government official” has been taken so seriously. Truly, the stupidest people on earth are part of this “movement”. Its entire basis is unverified claims posted by a random, unverified anonymous user. No one has any evidence or proof to back up any of what is posted. And yet if you tell people what they want to believe, they will not go looking for evidence to the contrary.

That’s why we are always at a disadvantage to Trumpists. A lot of people would more readily believe in a savior than to believe that it’s their own responsibility to take action. We who advocate for reason and evidence have a far greater uphill battle than QAnon ever could. Any intelligent world must be built by intelligent people, but how are we going to find enough intelligent people in an unintelligent world?

Calm it with the hysterics, guys! But MAGA can’t calm down. Hysteria is its essence. Emotional instability is the whole point. It doesn’t appeal to level-headed people. MAGA is kept in a constant state of elevated arousal, never relaxing, never stopping. It’s this state that precludes rational thought and reason. MAGA is not just anti-enlightenment; it’s pre-enlightenment. It’s back to the cave. Trump has reduced American civilization to savagery. The barbarians are now inside the gate. They have won.
