MAGA loons have no sense of humor whatsoever. Their entire lives are devoted to defending Trump and MAGA. They are completely humorless. Comedians who make fun of their Dear Leader are threatened and deplatformed.
You will find NO sense of humor or playfulness in the MAGA Cult. They are deathly serious. The only thing they laugh at is mockery of liberals – humor that comes from hatred. They cannot be humorous about anything they love. They’re too touchy. The tiniest jibe produces massive outrage.
Imagine having such rigid inflexibility to the point of banning all jokes and mockery. Almost like a certain historical dictator … in Germany … in the 1930s and 40s.
Laughter is the first thing to die in fascism. Mocking the regime is ILLEGAL. Any insult must be avenged. Laughter kills authoritarianism and narcissistic control freaks who can’t abide jokes. Narc Kings have to be taken 100 percent seriously AT ALL TIMES. Sarcasm, playful jabs, and parody are DANGEROUS when it comes to ego maniacs. That’s why they’re not welcome at all.
Humor has the remarkable power of puncturing the bubbles of illusion. It makes clear to us the gap between how things are and how they should be. Satirists and comedians rip through the mirage.
Is that why MAGA loons can’t stop fake laughing (involving lots of 🤣😂) at things that manifestly aren’t funny – because they’re in such DESPERATE need of laughter and humor?
Trump, who recently temporarily censored comedian Jimmy Kimmel, HATES comedians. It infuriates him that they refuse to take him seriously. He NEEDS to be taken seriously – his narcissism mandates it. This is a trait you’ll also see in insecure people. They have such severe ego problems that every minor affront represents a mortal injury. Even the silliest, most innocuous things are blown out of all proportion, dialed up to 1000. Can you imagine what a miserable existence that is?
For Trump, humor is exclusively a weapon to use against those he perceives as enemies. There is no kindness, charity, or good will expressed in his humor – these emotions are lost on him. Everything about Trump and MAGA is nasty, petty, sour, and malevolent. They cultivate an environment where their toxic humor – mostly in the form of attacks on non-MAGA people – is accepted, rewarded, and encouraged, but any objection or insinuation against their dearly beloved Donald is met with vicious and hysterical retaliation.
When you criticize Trump, that’s powerful – but when you LAUGH at him, that dispels his “magic.” He can no longer impress or mesmerize you. His mystique is trashed. His personal myth of being the best ever is shattered. This terrifies him. His bluff has been called. Laughter exposes him for the FREAK he is.
Mockery is power. It’s the opposite of admiration and veneration. It is irreverence, the mortal enemy of the self-aggrandizing psychopath. Of course, it doesn’t quite have the same force in the hands of MAGA loons, since they’re inherently humorless people, and all their humor is based on negative feelings rather than positive ones. And we on the Left have no dictator for them to mock, so we can take a joke.
Look at these moronic haters! It must be exhausting to live in MAGA Land where everything is taken DEAD SERIOUSLY!! Can you imagine being completely humorless yet addicted to humor? That’s how MAGA loons operate. These puking clowns pretend to have values and principles, but they’re actually indecent monsters. Their humor hits quite differently. It’s spiteful. It’s mean-spirited. It’s cynical. It’s aimed at destroying their detractors.
Laughing at Trump, meanwhile, is something everyone with a sense of humor can do, free of spite, because he’s genuinely very easy to make fun of. Notice the keyword FUN. MAGA never has any fun. All they have is the deadly serious business of making their insane beliefs seem rational.
If you take yourself too seriously, then you are CERTAIN to become a joke. It’s just how it goes.
What’s a cult? It’s a group these overly serious people to create, in order to foster an environment where they won’t be laughed at. The Cult of Donald Trump is a refuge of humorless weirdos who take Trump as seriously as he takes himself. It’s seriously pathetic.
