The more America reflects this type of person, the less stable it will become. Insane people cannot belong to sane, ordered countries. They are always adrift, outside of the established order. They can contribute nothing to it. Their only use is to tear it all down. That’s exactly what they’re doing, and they have no idea. And when America is a smoldering ruin, they will be powerless to build anything new in its place.
You cannot get blood out of a stone, and you cannot get sense out of the senseless. All ordered societies are based on rational common principles and agreements. But Trumpian Conservatism is anti-rationalism. It is all emotion and hatred. It can’t stand against a strong wind. It cannot exist alongside an established order. Its very existence is an assault on society itself.
As a society, we’ve totally lost the ability to deal with such people. Mental health disorders are becoming more and more common. The epidemic is clear. These people can’t handle reality – and Trump offers an escape from reality, a fantasyland of lies where he becomes God, a living Jesus figure, with his own followers worshipping him as the second coming. Trump came along and totally swept these people up in his nonsense. They were already susceptible.
If we dealt with psychotic people properly, Trump never could have gotten a foothold in America. We wouldn’t have these cultist lunatics running amok and ruining society for everyone else. These MAGA apes are beyond disgusting.
That’s what happens when you fail to protect your country from the rise of insanity.
Trump is always in survival mode, always desperately struggling against criticism. And now MAGA are taking America into the same desperate state. MAGA is an existential threat.
